After the Orlando Magic took care of the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Play-in on Tuesday night 120-95, the Boston Celtics first stop in their quest to a second championship title will be against Orlando.

The first game of the series will played on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. and the Celtics have hit its stride at a perfect time. All season the Celtics haven’t gotten to play with one another fully healthy for an extended period of time. Kristaps Porzingis started the season recovering from an injury suffered in last years postseason. Al Horford as been in and out of the lineup recently. Jaylen Brown has been having knee issues, but there’s no real concern of whether he’ll play.

On the bench, Payton Pritchard has been continuing to solidify his case for Sixth Man of the Year with 14.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg. Guys such as Jrue Holiday and Derrick White have appeared to accept their roles as defenders, catch-and-shoot guys. The Celtics have found its identity already, but I don’t think the Magic have.

Paolo Banchero has averaged 25.9 points, 7.5 boards, and 4.8 assists through 46 games. He’s been consistently in the lineup towards the end of the season, but was battling injuries to start the season. Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs, Anthony Black, and Franz Wagner have all had to adjust to having its star back in the lineup. Though they’re a scary team that brought the Cavaliers deep into a series last season, this year they’ve been having they’re own rollercoaster.

Prediction: Celtics win series in six games

I can see the Celtics be without a starter for a game or two in this series that will cause hysteria amongst the sports world. But overall, when the Celtics begin to get hot from deep, there’s not much the Magic can do. Celtics win the size battle, back court matchup, and play better defense. I do think the Magic will put up a fight each game. Stealing a game three, and possibly forcing a game six.

I don’t see this series being for Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. Rather I see guys like Pritchard, Holiday, White and Sam Hauser doing well in this series and each of them having a game they score 20+.
