Through the first three games of the season in which the Boston Celtics have been victorious in each of them, they’ve been simply outscoring teams with high-power offense, and they have the potential to do it all season.

The C’s are averaging 126 points a game as a unit, the only team to average more are the Cleveland Cavaliers with 128. Boston has been sinking three-pointers from deep at a high clip, and this is all without seven-footer and shooter Kristaps Porzingis who can easily average 20 a night. As a team, they’re shooting 44.2% from behind the arc, the highest in the league so far. They’re also averaging 22.7 made three’s a night, which is the most in the league, with the Warriors being next in line with 18.

Jayson Tatum has been leading the pact in scoring with 33 ppg so far, that’s third in the league. He’s shooting an impressive 48.6 % from deep, but I expect that number to go down as the season progresses. If it doesn’t and Tatum continues this type of consistency, he may easily find himself at the top of the MVP conversation. He’s also leading the team in assists and field goal percentage.

Jaylen Brown, the other half of the superstar duo, hasn’t been a slouch so far. His defensive game has tremendously stepped up, so he may not get the offensive praise he deserves. However, he’s been averaging 24.7 ppg, and he’s due for a big 40+ game at some point this week.

Another sign of not slowing down is the ascending Payton Pritchard and his contribution off the bench. The former Oregon Duck is averaging 12.3 ppg. Aside from only dropping three points on opening night, He scored 19 against Detroit Friday and 15 against Washington. The bench scoring has been the only question for the C’s, but if Pritchard can contribute at a consistent rate, than I don’t see anyone stopping this team from scoring over 110 points a night. Also, if Sam Hauser can put up at least two made three’s a night off the bench, it just adds to the onslaught.

Even with injuries that will happen throughout the season, the C’s are just too powerful on offense to be slowed down.
