Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton carried off the floor after slipping on court vs. Celtics; will undergo an MRI - CBSSports.com

INDIANA – It was Jaylen Brown’s night to close the show with 3.2 seconds left in the game as he was fouled on a shot that was called by the refs.

But the call was challenged by Indiana, and reversed, ultimately ending with Bennedict Mathurin making the winning free throws for the Pacers, they win 133-131 on Monday.

The back-to-back series ends in a split between the two teams, but the more interesting storyline is Pacer’s star Tyrese Haliburton leaving the game with what looks like a groin injury. He had to be carried off the court late in the second quarter and didn’t return to the game. Jayson Tatum was ruled out before the game due to ‘injury management’.

Brown showed why he deserved the money he got this offseason, although he didn’t finish the game out with a win due to a call being reversed, he stepped up. It was also Jrue Holiday who finished second in scoring for the C’s with 21 points, Kristaps Porzingis had 19.

The loss still has the C’s in first place of the east and still has their roster mostly healthy at a 28-8 record. They’ll get a big test tomorrow when they’ll face the Minnesota Timberwolves at home.
